The Healing Powers of Babies

The last month has been pretty tough for all of us. Thank goodness for Jayden. It seems whenever I'm getting sad, she does something amazing to make me smile. Playing outside at Gramma's.
Just like her daddy.

This cement deer is an antique. It used to be at MY grandma's house in South Dakota. Some how it's lasted 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, tons of other children, a 1,300 mile move, and probably at least 50 winters outside.

Jayden loves being outside, especially in Flagstaff.

Oh Mandi! I've thought of you so much the last month! And then, seems like sometimes life deals a double whammy of things too. Life isn't fair, but then we know that. Wonderful that we have some joy in our lives to to help take the focus off the sad!
Happy birthday to Matt :)
Maybe we'll get to see you soon? (one of the joyful things in life!)
Just wanted to say hi to you all, Loving hugs, & so happy to see updated pictures!

They are amazing aren't they? Once you have kids it hard to imagine life with out them. I'm sorry we don't keep in touch better, but I think about you often.
