Yummy!

Jayden is hitting that "I want to be independent" stage. She wants to use a spoon, but her aim isn't very good. As you can see most of her cereal ended up on her nose.

Happy Halloween!

Bailey dresses up as a scary pirate skeleton.
Jayden was hammin it up in her pumpkin outfit.

Ah, a baby dragon! Nope it's just Jayden.

Okay, I went a little overboard at the used baby store with their used costumes. I came home with five outfits. They were so cute and so cheap (all five cost like $15) so I had to have some fun playing Jayden dress-up.

This is the costume she wore outside as we walked around the neighborhood with the family. Inside she wore her pumpkin outfit that wasn't quite as warm. She was the most adorable Pooh Bumble Bee I've ever seen.

Updates... Finally

Jayden loves to play with her Uncle Andrew.
Way back in September Grammie Lu came to visit.
(I really am way behind on posting.)

Jayden's favorite bath times are those in the kitchen sink with her daddy. He lets her get the water level way up high and encourages splashing everything in sight.

Football fan!

On to Washington DC

From South Dakota I flew on to Washington DC for Diana's wedding. The first night there we took her for a girls' night out. It was kind of funny that three of us in the group were nursing moms, so we all had out little black backpacks in tow all the days I was there. Jayden stayed in South Dakota with Gramma and all my family. I was definitely going through baby withdrawls. It was a good time but the longest five days of my life being away from my baby. Bridesmaids- SMILE!
We were all matching from our necklaces to our shoes. We were all very happy when we got to change out of our matching high heels to our matching blue flippies.
The beautiful bride! She looked like a princess.

Camping At Sheradan Lake In South Dakota.

Jayden's first camping trip was at Sheradan Lake in SD. We had a sort of family reunion out at the lake throughout the week.
We got to go out on the boat to tube, knee board, and fish.

Josh and Nate brave the waves.

South Dakota

There is no place as beautiful as the area where I was born. During our trip to Sturgis, we got to see lots of beautiful places. The one below is Roughlock Falls. The Matt, the boys, and I had a fun hike to see these beautiful falls.

Mount Rushmore

Matt, the boys, and Jayden made their first trips to see Mount Rushmore, which is about a 30 minute drive from where I was born.

Bailey spent lots of time Frog hunting when we were staying at Uncle Jr and Aunt Deb's house.

Nathan was more into fly hunting than frog hunting. Jayden has fun sitting with Daddy out in the fresh air.

South Dakota Trip

We spent our first Saturday in South Dakota at my family's favorite little lake in the entire world, Iron Creek. The water was really chilly, but the boys still braved it and took a swim.

Dressing up in Mommy's Old Clothes.

My mom saved some of her favorite clothes of mine from when I was a baby. Jayden and I got to play dress up in Mommy's baby clothes. You can see the material is starting to age, but considering they are over 27 years old I think they are looking pretty good.

First Dip in the Swimming Pool

Jayden's hair has been falling out lately. She has a long mohawk going right down the middle of her head. I don't know if all the red is going to fall out for good, though it looks like it could be going blonde.

This picture makes me laugh. It has Leach Baby written all over it.

Happy First Birthday Dusty!

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Dusty. Happy Birthday to you!
Hanging with Daddy at Dusty's birthday at the park.
Give Me More Cake! While Matt was eating his cake Jayden decided to jump into the cake on his plate. She was so proud of herself and that tiny taste of frosting she did get made her want lots more. We told her not until her first birthday. So six more months to go.
