Happy New Year

I know it's been a long time since I've updated our blog, but I'm hoping to keep on top of things a little better this year. Matt and I had an enjoyable holiday season. I am a year round teacher who had Thanksgiving through January 2nd off of work, so I "really" enjoyed the last five weeks. We started off with Thanksgiving in Flagstaff, AZ with my family and Matt's dad, step-mom, baby sister, and uncle. Then on December 17th we went on a mini five day vacation to Puerto Penasco (a.k.a. Rocky Point). It was the first real vacation we went on since our honeymoon. We really enjoyed spending lazy days eating, sleeping, and laying by the pool. Straight from Mexico we met Matt's mom and siblings in Gilbert, AZ for four days for the Rolston/ Hunnell wedding. On Christmas Eve we made the drive up to Flagstaff for a few days and spent Christmas with my family. We came home for two days to turn around and head back to Flagstaff for New Years. We have definately put a lot of miles on the new Xterra in the short time we've owned her. Well, hopefully I can get some of these pictures to upload so I can share some of what we've been doing.
