Mom Visits Vegas

Mom came for a weekend visit. We decided to take a trip out to Logandale to see the town. Sidney fell in love with Lake Mead and the reservore they have in town. I don't know if the Xterra will ever recover from the muddy paws all over its insides.

I believe Sidney is part duck. She loved swimming in the water.
She left a lasting imprint on the town of Logandale.(Not to mention the inside of my Xterra.)
We saw some very strange rock formations while we were hiking around. Matt decided this one worked as a good chair.

Matt at the dam in Page.
For Matt's birthday Logan got them each a remote helicopter. I can definately say I don't think I will ever want to be a passanger in an aircraft with either of them at the controls.
On our ride we stopped at this abandoned house with this neat windmill.
Eldon and Dori Troutmans.

Last month we spent a weekend in Page, Arizona with the Troutmans. Dori kept our bellies full with delicious homemade foods. We both came home five pounds heavier. We also had a great time taking out the dirtbikes and four wheeler. Dori packed us a lunch Saturday morning then we all headed out. We really enjoyed our time with their family (as always).

We switched to Cox High Speed Internet. I am hoping it will help me with downloading to the blog. This is a picture of Matt and me in Laughlin, NV. We went for a couple days or R&R by the pool. It was a nice relaxing weekend.
